Mark St. Clair & Daniel Danuser have established a Newcastle House of Photography that will be a meeting place for anyone interested in art photography, be that pros, amateurs, students or enthusiasts and are proud to be an inaugural participant in the Renew Newcastle Project. The gallery area at the front of the space, which is available for exhibition hire, will be used to hang exhibition prints & show case local talent as either individual photographer’s or group’s works (such as TAFE, Uni or Flickr). The emphasis will be on art photography as opposed to existing commercial photography. We are offering an alternative to conventional galleries and studios, by offering an opportunity to showcase creative work of any one willing to strut their stuff. We would also like to run work shops on all sorts of topics related to photography and printing (such as Photoshop, printing or lighting etc). The size of the space available will also allow us to rent out studio space suitable for group or commercial shoots at reasonable rates.

Last but not least we would like to become a centre for IT knowledge & excellence in photography and photo printing.
